From Rags to Riches!

I’ve attached a photo of Remi (formerly known as Madori, Dori or Madeline).

Remi has settled nicely into our home and enjoys long walks with her new neighbor dog friends Kaylee, Harvey and Odin. She loves to chase squirrels in our back yard and carry her baby raccoon stuffed animals around the house.

Last night she met 20+ teenage girls and boys after the homecoming party and she was a big hit with the kids. She was very patient with all of them and rolled over happily to get her belly rubbed.

She’s had a lot of new experiences (going to the lake, touring the neighborhood and going to soccer games) and has met many new people who have given her lots of pats on the head.

Remi has come a long way from the days of being chained up as an outdoor puppy    No more of that for her!

We’re happy that she’s part of our family and that she has found her forever home. Thank you for volunteering your time and energy and please pass on our gratitude to all of your volunteers as well.
