Vote for the 2013 Calendar Cover Dog!

We are thrilled to announce that Lisa Asp of Tangerine House of Design is creating a 2013 calendar from the portraits that were done during her Dog Days of Summer fundraising promotion for Homeward Bound and 100% of the calendar proceeds will be donated to HB!  First though the “cover dog” needs to be determined.  Here’s where you can help – check out the gallery and vote for your favorite photo.  Each vote costs $1.00 with proceeds going to offset the cost of printing.  “Stuffing” the ballot box is encouraged! 

Calendars will be available for purchase beginning November 1st!

Arrow’s Heart Animal Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue. They rescue dogs, cats and other small animals. All of the animals in their program are waiting for adoption. Foster parents wanted!

Hey Everyone!  With summer in full swing many of our fosters are going on vacation and we are in need of new fosters.  Have you ever considered caring for a homeless pet and bridging that gap between being unwanted to finding a forever home? No cost is required.  We provide food, a crate, vetting etc.

Dog {and Cat} Days of Summer

Join Tangerine House of Design during the month of July as they raise money for Homeward Bound Rescue! 

In lieu of a session fee, they ask that you bring a monetary donation of your choosing for Homeward Bound Rescue.  To make an appointment for
your “Dog {and Cat} Days of Summer” portrait session in the month if July, please call 952-303-3619 or schedule your session online (be sure
to select “Dog Days” from the pull-down menu).  Sessions will be limited, so be sure to reserve your appointment time now.  Special packages will be available for ordering.

All participants will receive a goodie bag filled with awesome schwag  from area pet businesses.  In addition, all pets photographed will be included in a pet portrait contest!  Those that have the best chance of winning will be the ones that are most creative, so be sure you bring your pet’s favorite toy, jacket, hat, or whatever you have that makes you smile.

Help! Laney is Missing***YAY! Laney has been located***

 ***Thank you to all of you who got the word out about Laney. She was located and is back with her family!****

Laney was adopted on Saturday 6/16/2012 and ran away from her adopters when they were on their way home. She was last seen on Saturday afternoon near the Goodwill in Maplewood (2580 White Bear Avenue North, Maplewood). She does know her name and LOVES treats. Our upscale yard sale starts today!

May 17, 2012!  Today through Sunday:   Lake of the Isles -  2427 East Lake of the Isles Parkway, Minneapolis, MN.  And we just learned yesterday that the proceeds from the sale will generously be matched by the hosts of the sale YAY!

Rain or shine, there a tent to keep shoppers dry!  Women’s, men’s and kid’s clothes; lamps; pillows (new) and household items.  Huge number of items both new and used.  Proceeds from the sale going to the animals of Homeward Bound Dog Rescue!
