Laney

Laney is a very loyal girl and she loves her people very much. Laney has been in rescue for over five months now and we’re not too sure why. Katherine

Katherine is a fun girl with lots of love to give. She is a smart and loving dog. Katherine does need an experienced dog owner to help her get past her “rescue dog” behaviors. Katherine does well with dogs in her own home, but she does not do well with cats. Katherine looking for the right home that is willing to put the time and training into her to help her become the perfect dog. Bubba Turk

Bubba is one special boy. Everyone in our rescue will tell you what a great dog this guy is. Bubba does need an experienced and confident owner to guide him. Bubba is nervous/protective around people he doesn’t know and he needs proper socialization. With the right kind of structured life style Bubba will flourish into the most wonderful and loyal of dogs. Mufasa

AKA “Muffie”
Mufasa is just a cute old man looking for a great home to adore for him. He is about seven years old and he tends to walk around all day with his tong hanging out. We call him Muffy. With his short little legs he wants to jump onto your lap, but he can’t. So he stands on his hind legs and leans on your leg to say pick me up I want to be next to you. He loves to lay with you on the couch, in bed if you let him. He is just a little sweetie. He loves to follow you where you go. He just wants to be with you. If I go out side he is right behind me. He is kennel trained. At night he is in a dog bed next to our bed, but he would rather be in bed with you. He is so sweet and so cute. He gets along with everyone at our house, even the big dog we are babysitting. Our cat is mellow and there is no problem there. He is just a great little dog. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for heartworm and lyme disease. Email taffycandy890@embarqmail.com for more information.

Jewels

Jewels has been in rescue for some time now and as sweet as she is we aren’t too sure why. The stress of rescue life has been weighing down on her and she has started to go through seizures when there is too much excitement. She is now on Phenobarbital (a very low costing daily medication to help prevent seizures) and she is doing better, but jewels has been waiting long enough and she is ready for her forever home. Piper

Piper made to cut for our featured dogs because of her need for that energetic structured home. Piper is young and wild, but only in the best kind of way. She needs an experienced home to help guide her into becoming one of the best dogs ever. Piper has a lot of potential and she is oh so smart. Memphis

Memphis has been in rescue since July of 2011. Memphis has been patiently waiting all this time for that hound loving home to sniff him out (apparently they aren’t as good with their noses). Memphis is a fairly active dog, so he needs an active family, with a physically-fenced yard (hounds are not reliable off leash) and daily exercise to keep him (and you) happy. Gemma

 Gemma made our featured dog’s list because of her long wait (over 10 months) for that perfect home. Gemma is a special girl and she needs a home with the time and energy to keep Gemma busy and out of trouble. Willoby

Willoby has been in our rescue for over 10 months. This little guy is older in age and that maybe why he is passed over time and time again. When it comes to other dogs…Willoby is like the cranky old man who likes to sit on the front porch, but we promise his bark is worse than his bite (lol…mostly because he only has a few teeth left).
