A Little Bit About Me

Socks is a 7 year old black Lab/Border Collie mix who came to rescue when his owner passed away. He was a loyal friend to the end, and so badly wants to return to being someone's sidekick and companion. He is reliably house trained, crates quietly but likely doesn't need one, rarely barks, and walks like a dream on the leash. He loves attention and affection and would love to be someone's heart again. Socks has lived with other dogs and is tolerant, but when new dogs get in his face he first tries to avoid them, then will snap at them- never to people. He just doesn't have the patience for young rowdy dogs in his face. He is behaving well with the resident dogs at his foster home. This dog is so smart, so intuitive, and so loving.
