A Little Bit About Me

Meet Clementine. A beautiful, petite ginger cat seeking a home as an ONLY pet. Clementine LOVES people, but other cats, dogs and emus not so much. She was recently a pregnant stray that wandered on to a farm to find a safe place to have her kittens. The farm dogs were not kind to her and she had to defend herself and her babies. The farm raised emus too, and they are not friendly either. The farmer called the rescue because she feared for Clementine and her kittens lives. So you can understand why Clementine doesn't trust other animals. The people at the rescue were kind to her, and she raised her babies there. Then she went to the veterinarian to get an exam, spayed, and vaccinated. She was found to be in very good health, and guessed to be about 2 years old. She is ready to have a home and people of her own. She likes both women and men. She greets me with enthusiasm when I go to visit her in her room in the basement. I can pick her up with no objection. I can hold her against my chest and cuddle her and she purrs. She will jump up on my lap. She's learning to play with toys and enjoys the cat tree and climbing. She can be quite curious and busy, but she also settles in. She's eating kibble and wet food, and enjoys treats. She uses the litterbox 100%.
