A Little Bit About Me

Lexi is a gorgeous 2 year old, 17 pound ( chubby) Cavalier/Doxie mix as best guess, seeking a patient home with a yard and someone willing to give her the time and space to learn to trust. She has been treated poorly prior and it shows. The first four days in her current foster she hid and growled and avoided human contact, but has really blossomed into a happier dog who enjoys following her foster mom around. We know a change is going to hurl her right back into anxiety and she needs someone patient and calm. A fenced yard is ideal, and another dog is helpful for building confidence but not required.
